There are at least three additional offers for guests such as babysitting, a mini market, a pharmacy, etc. Internet access is available in public areas and the residential units. The rooms usually have TV, mini fridge, air conditioning, safe, desk with chair, adequate lighting, power outlet and telephone. There is the possibility to use your own electronic devices. For 90 percent of the residential units, the following applies: 15 square meters of floor space are available, excluding bathrooms, which are at least 3 square meters. Local accommodations in Brazil, called pousadas, are mostly family-run small inns. The Portuguese verb "pousar" stands for "land" and "rest" in the meaning of "relax".
