In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel in Manaus to start your journey into the Amazon Rainforest. On the way to the lodge you will be able to see the famous “Meeting of the Waters” where the different colored Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes meet to become the Rio Amazonas. If you are lucky you will also spot pink dolphins and giant water lilies (depending on the season). The whole journey to the lodge takes about 3 hours and is quite diversified due to land and water transportation.

By boat you will arrive at the lodge where the friendly staff will receive you with a welcome drink. Your first jungle adventure is scheduled for after lunch. Led by your English-speaking guide, you will paddle with a canoe through small creeks (igarapés) and flooded forest areas (igapós) for a first close encounter with the mighty Amazon Rainforest. During this trip it is also possible to swim in the river and with some luck you will see a pink dolphin swimming next to your canoe, a monkey family playing in the trees, or a sloth hanging from a branch. Later on, dinner will be served at the restaurant before you head out on a night excursion to spot caimans and observe the nocturnal life of the Amazon.

Before breakfast you will start the day early to witness the spectacular Amazon sunrise accompanied by the sound of the awaking rainforest. This time of the day is also excellent for bird watching.

After a delicious breakfast, including lots of tropical fruits, another excursion is waiting for you. During an easy hike through the forest your guide will explain interesting facts about local plants and their use as medicine and food, show some jungle survival techniques, and try to spot wildlife. Maybe you will be able to observe a group of howler monkeys, a tapir, or some colorful macaws.

Later, lunch will be severed at the lodge's restaurant. Afterwards you will go fishing for piranhas which is also a great opportunity to spot wildlife at the river banks. If you are successful, your catch of the day can be prepared for dinner.

At night, an informal lecture will be held by one of the local guides on customs and traditions of the Amazon people.

After breakfast you will start off for another nature hike to explore the surrounding area further and find out more about the fascinating flora and fauna of the Amazon Rainforest. For lunch the guides will prepare a picnic over an open bonfire and you can enjoy local cuisine in the jungle. Afterwards, you can relax and have a nap in a hammock. In the afternoon you will visit a local community to learn about the life of the "Caboclo Ribeirinhos," the river bank people and the importance of cassava flour for the economy of this region. You will return to the lodge in time for dinner.

After breakfast you will return to Manaus. The transfer will stop at a place where you can see the huge pirarucu or arapaima fish which can reach up to 9.8 feet (3 meters) and 440 lbs (200 kg). Later, the transfer continues to your hotel in Manaus or the airport where you will arrive around noon.
