During this group tour you will drive up the Sugar Loaf for a breath taking view over Rio de Janeiro. Sightseeing includes also a tour of the historical past of Rio de Janeiro. From the top of the Sugar Loaf you will have a privileged view on the Corcovado Hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, that keeps an eye on Rio de Janeiro.
Itinerary
Within this group tour two sets of cable cars bring the visitors to the top of Sugar Loaf for a breath taking view over Rio de Janeiro. The first one brings you to the top of Urca Mountain. From Urca Mountain a second set of cable cars brings passengers to the summit with its 360º spectrum of golden beaches, green rainforests and a thriving metropolis, that has earned Rio de Janeiro the title of the most beautiful city of the world. After the visit to the Sugar Loaf, you will also catch a glimpse from the outside of the Maracana stadium, the Cathedral at downtown, and of course, you will drive up to the top of the Corcovado Mountain for a panoramic view and a closer look at the statue of Christ the Redeemer. In this tour option a typical lunch at a local grill restaurant (“Churrascaria”) is included.
