Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Rio de Janeiro

Rio welcomes you with all the beauty of a tropical metropolis. The city impresses newcomers directly with its unmistakable topography, overlooked by Christ the Redeemer. The districts are embedded between the blue sea, long beaches, steep granite rocks, and mountains covered with rainforest.
The city is also a center of art and culture, offering exotic and typical restaurants, colorful nightlife, markets, and samba rhythms in its squares. Your English-speaking guide will be awaiting your arrival at the airport and provide recommendations for your stay.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro
Included: Day Trip Corcovado and Sugarloaf (private, 8h) | Breakfast
During today's day trip you will visit the most famous sights of Rio de Janeiro. In the morning you will drive with your guide to Cosme Velho district, where you will take the rack railway up to Christ the Redeemer. On the visitor platform around the statue you can view the city from all sides and your guide will provide a lot of interesting facts. Further along the way you will have time to visit Rio's historic center before continuing on to Sugarloaf Mountain in the afternoon. The cable car will take you up to the top over 2 stages. From the top you will have a 360-degree view of the metropolis. Your guide will then take you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Experience Rio as You Wish

Rio de Janeiro offers countless sights and activities for all visitors and interests. Dive deep into history on a historical tour, visit museums and architectural monuments, or take a jeep tour into the adjacent rainforest. Weather permitting, you can also spend the day at the beach or simply stroll along the Copacabana promenade.

In the morning you will be picked up by your Portuguese-speaking driver and leave the big city. On the drive along Costa Verde, bays, beaches, and beautiful viewpoints line up. After arriving to Paraty you will have time for lunch (not included) and can relax. In the afternoon you will be picked up by your local English-speaking guide for a walk to the historic sights of Paraty. The old town has been listed as a historical monument since 1958 and the entire region has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its cultural value and biodiversity.

Day 5: History and Culture Experience
Included: Day Trip Paraty Gold Trail (private, 5h) | Breakfast
As a former trading center, Paraty was connected to the interior via the Gold Trail. The path was laid through the mountains to the coast by the enslaved of that time with huge stone slabs and is still well preserved today. Hike along the old paths and learn a lot of interesting facts from your guide. For refreshment you can go for a swim under a waterfall and enjoy the surrounding Atlantic Rainforest. At the end of the day trip you will have the opportunity to visit one of the best Cachaca distilleries in the country, where the famous sugarcane liquor is produced.

Day 6: Islands, Fjords, and Beaches
Included: Boat Trip Paraty Fjords (in-group, 4-5h) | Breakfast
A trip to Brazil would not be complete without including the beautiful Costa Verde. Therefore, together with your English-speaking guide, today you will go on a day trip with a traditional schooner along the coast. On the ship you will be offered fruits, stop at different bays and small islands, and have the possibility to snorkel and swim.

Day 7: Journey Back to Rio de Janeiro
